A legal disclaimer

JBFocal Films makes no warranties or representations regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content provided as part of its services. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless JBFocal Films, its employees, agents, and subcontractors, from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of or in connection with the services provided, including but not limited to any claims for invasion of privacy, defamation, or copyright infringement.

Terms & Conditions

PLEASE READ AND ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THE FOLLOWING STATEMENTS.

  1. Agreement Overview
    The following constitutes the Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement”) between JBFocal Films (the “Videographer”) and the Client (referred to as “you” or “your”). By signing this Agreement, you agree to all the terms and conditions outlined herein. If you have any questions or concerns regarding this Agreement, please contact JBFocal Films prior to signing. Your electronic signature, represented by checking the appropriate boxes and entering your name below, signifies your acceptance of these terms. You are encouraged to print a copy of this Agreement for your records.
     

  2. Exclusive Videography Services
    It is understood that JBFocal Films is the exclusive Videographer retained by you to cover the specified event. Any conflicts arising from other videography or photography agreements are the sole responsibility of the Client. The Client must take all necessary steps to avoid such conflicts.
     

  3. Client Responsibilities
    The Client assumes full responsibility for obtaining any necessary permissions, clearances, permits, and access required for JBFocal Films to perform its services at each event, whether public or private. The Client also assumes responsibility for ensuring that JBFocal Films has access to any requested camera positions and acknowledges that the quality of the final production may be impacted by the use or inability to use such positions. The Client warrants that they have the legal rights to all materials that JBFocal Films may videotape or include in the final video, including photos, musical recordings, and any other provided content.
     

  4. Limitations of Liability
    JBFocal Films is not responsible for poor audio quality if the groom declines to wear a lapel microphone, dark or grainy footage resulting from inadequate lighting, or any issues arising from the Client's refusal to allow camera-top lighting at the reception. Additionally, JBFocal Films is not liable for any electrical or mechanical malfunctions that are beyond its control.
     

  5. Event Coverage
    JBFocal Films will agree upon an arrival time with the Client for the event date and will remain on duty for the number of hours specified in the selected package. Coverage hours are only applicable to the event date and must be consecutive.
     

  6. Use of Footage for Promotional Purposes
    JBFocal Films reserves the right to use any videos and photos captured during the event for display and promotional purposes. All video masters, raw footage, and photographs remain the exclusive property of JBFocal Films.
     

  7. Artistic Style and Creative Judgment
    The Client acknowledges that they are familiar with the JBFocal Films portfolio and are requesting services with an understanding of the company’s style. The Client recognizes that JBFocal Films’ work is unique and artistic, and that the final product may differ from previous works by the company or from the Client's expectations. The Client agrees that JBFocal Films will use its creative judgment in producing videos that are consistent with the company’s vision, and that the videos will not be subject to rejection based on taste or aesthetic criteria.
     

  8. Liability Limitations
    If JBFocal Films is unable to fulfill the terms of this Agreement due to events beyond its control, such as illness, accidents, labor disputes, acts of God, or unforeseeable equipment failure, JBFocal Films’ liability is limited to a refund of all monies received.
     

  9. Cancellation Policy
    The Client reserves the right to cancel this contract for any reason up to 5 days before the scheduled event date. If the Client cancels the contract, all payments made, minus the applicable deposit, will be refunded. A non-refundable 10% deposit is required at the time of booking, this remains non-refundable, even upon cancellation.

10. Deliverables:

      JBFocal Films remains the right to deliver your final deliverables up to 3 months after the date of your            wedding.
